Nandana Tours Sri Lanka

5 DAY TRIPS

Udawalawa / Ella / Nuwara Eliya / Kandy / Dambulla / Sigiriya / Anuradhapura

1st day

From airport we are directly moving to udawalawa.

Love elephants and wondering where to see elephants in Sri Lanka? Go on a wildlife safari in Udawalawe National Park where hundreds of elephants roam free – read on for everything you need to know to help plan your Udawalawe National Park Sri Lanka safari! Udawalawe National Park is located in the south of Sri Lanka and is a popular destination for those hoping to spot wild elephants. It is quite possibly the best place in Sri Lanka to see elephants throughout the year as there are a few hundred elephants within the park, and you can sometimes witness a herd of females moving or bathing together in the wild.

Then we are going to visit the elephant feeding place

Does anyone know what are the feeding times? ... Udawalawa is a good place to see free wild animals the same as the elephants.

The Transit Home is a lively place. Feeding milk to the calves every three hours is a recurring job on all 365 days of the year. Elephant calves at ETH are fed once every three hours. ETH turns into a frenzy if the feeding times are delayed; the pathetic cry and the charges of elephants for milk are agonizing to hear. Getting the orphaned elephant calves adapted to milk powder and a whole new environment requires utmost patience and care, as there are still no special milk formulae that have been introduced for elephants.

Then Coming to Nuwara Eliya, On the way to Nuwara Eliya we are going to visit big and beautiful waterfall in Ella,
